A Toast to Summer

Colors burst across the sky in July. At night, the sky transforms into a canvas of shimmering shades of red, white, blue, green, purple, pink, silver, and gold. This spectacle extends beyond July 4th and acts as a coda to baseball games and Hollywood Bowl concerts after sundown. 

This is a month of celebrations in technicolor. Pool parties, beach parties, block parties, and juicy backyard barbeques are the staples of July. We bake under the sun and dance under the stars. We drink iced tea and sip cocktails on our neighbor’s patio as Bad Bunny blares through the stereo. 

We catch the twinkle in each other’s eyes as we make a toast to the shades of summer.
