Walter Bennett
Walter is a writer, former lawyer, law professor, and judge. While practicing law, he valued the art of storytelling. In 2012, he published his first novel–Leaving Tuscaloosa–which won the Alabama Author’s Award and was a finalist for the PEN/Bellwether Prize for Socially Engaged Fiction and the Crook’s Corner Book Prize for debut novels set in the American South. His most recent novel, The Last First Kiss, is a love story also set in the South. Here’s where you can find him:
