Yes! I just made this realization very recently. I was trying to write a finished product the first time around. It was so silly and took me forever! Now I just try to get it down on paper no matter what it looks like, because then I can edit!
I have been struggling to write lately, mainly because of procrastination or my mood swings.. Everything you wrote is true, this is a privilege and I need to stop taking it for granted.
